A classic tradition for Long Islanders of all ages is the Magic of Lights show at Jones Beach West End. Navigating through an illuminated holiday wonderland, this spectacular is truly a show not to miss! When driving through the West End, you’ll find yourself at the center of an array of holiday scenes, such as the 12 Days of Christmas, penguins and even Santa’s holiday adventures! In addition to the light display, there’s also an opportunity to meet the man in red himself: Santa Claus! When driving through, there’s a sign that leads to Santa’s Village where an assortment of holiday treats (and photo-ops) reside. It’s truly fun for the whole family, and definitely makes for a great night out!
Girl Scouts Holiday Light Show

Hosted by the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County, this holiday light show is packs a festive punch with the incredible assortment of lights! Being their 14th season of putting on this Holiday Light Show, this drive-through spectacular depicts the most festive holiday scenes for a good cause — with all proceeds from the show being donated to services, for children, on Long Island. This display will certainly be a fun time for the entire family, with multiple appearances by Santa, his elves and a crew of beloved holiday characters new and old. If you’re looking to change up your holiday plans this week (or weekend), then this will be the perfect, festive event to attend!
