Traveling to Paradise on a Budget

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

Dreaming of an adventure to paradise without breaking the bank? If your response is “I don’t have enough money to travel”, you’re not alone. But the simple fact of the matter is: you don’t need to be rich in order to travel. What you really need is to plan strategically. Here’s how to do it:

Do Research. Some destinations are more expensive than others. So rather than visiting the most highly desired areas, search for the world’s cheapest, most exotic destinations. You’ll be surprised to discover how much there is to do and see in such a private location.

Choose Two Locations. You heard us right! Make your round trip vacation into a multi-city exploration. Believe it or not, booking a multi-city flight can help you save money significantly on airfare. So if Italy or Paris is calling your name, add an extra stop to a getaway, like Iceland, for an even more wild adventure!

Consider Alternative Lodging. Although traveling during off-peak season is the most obvious way to save, you might not want to sacrifice timing. No problem - there are plenty of other ways you can save. (1) take advantage of deals, such as a “Stay 2 Nights, Get the 3rd Night Free” offer. (2) Opt for an all-inclusive price to help you save on food and drinks during your stay. (3) Take advantage of luxurious accommodations from locals through Airbnb, where you can search for worldwide rentals within your price range.

Seek Out a Travel Agent. Visiting a travel agent can not only provide you with tips and tricks for your next getaway, but it can also help you lower the costs - no extra fees required! Travel agencies offer luxurious special offers and will more or less book the entire trip for you, making it a win-win solution!

No matter where you plan your next travel adventure, Dynasty Limousine will be there to handle your transportation needs. We are available for pickups and drop offs at all of the major New York Airports including and for most private airports including Farmingdale Executive Airport. Call and request a quote today (631) 587-8500!

Wedding Planning Mistakes to Avoid

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500
Dynasty Limo Wedding Limo
Whether you are still on the market or beginning the wedding planning process, you’ll want to take note of these wedding planning mistakes to avoid - your 10 year old self will thank you:

Booking a venue before considering the guest list. You may have a dream venue in mind, but does it line up with the amount of guests you plan to invite? You can’t and shouldn't cram everyone into a room nor do you want to end up paying for a lot of empty/unused space. Discuss things over with your fiancé to figure out the type of atmosphere you’d like for your wedding. An intimate, close, family affair or the party of the season with 300+ guests and friends of friends. This will help later in setting the final guest list.

Blowing your fashion budget - on just the dress. You set aside a specific amount of money for wedding fashion, but that doesn’t just mean the dress. Think about additional tax, shipping if you aren’t purchasing it off the rack, alterations, undergarments, shoes, accessories, jewelry - we think you get the picture. Same thing goes with the budget for the other aspects of your wedding, make sure you take all things into account!

Not giving guests enough information. Make sure all guests have a copy of directions to your wedding or for those using a shuttle/bus service, have the clear pick up and drop off time. Hand out itineraries to ensure everyone knows where they should be and when. Share this information with your transportation service as well to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Doing all of your own wedding decor. Sure you may have the urge to test those Pinterest ideas you’ve spent the last several months pinning but look at the big picture. It may seem like a great way to cut costs, but on your wedding day do you want to be dedicating majority of the morning to sprucing up the venue, cutting fresh flowers for centerpieces, etc.? Likely not. Venue dressing is harder than you think, leave it to the pros. Which brings us to..

Hiring friends vs. professionals. Just because your childhood friend was great at creating mixed CDs back in the day doesn’t necessarily mean they have what it takes to be your wedding DJ. And perhaps another friend has a fancy camera, do they have enough experience in wedding photography and editing to produce a great photo album for you to look back on from years to come? Same thing goes for hiring a car service! A professional car service, like Dynasty Limousine, will make sure your guests are cared for and transported to their destinations comfortably and safely.

Don’t make additional stress for yourself over coordinating multiple rides with different cars. Hire the pros and have your entire entourage with you every step of the way. At Dynasty Limousine, our massive fleet of limousines, party buses, and shuttles will make it easy for everyone from the Bride and Groom, to the wedding party and guests, to travel in style and comfort. Our reputation is very important to us and we work hard to make sure that your experience with us is memorable and worry-free.

#WeddingWednesday - How To Add Warmth To Your Winter Wedding

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

Every season has its downfalls when it comes to setting a date for a wedding - summer may be too hot, spring may be too rainy - but winter can make planning a bit more difficult due to the potential for massive snowfalls and extremely cold temps. The good news, though, is that the nature of the season doesn't have to stop you from saying "I do." In fact, winter can make for some of the most beautiful weddings out there!
Limo Service Long Island | Weddings Long Island
If you've got a winter wedding in the works, take a look below to learn how to add some warmth to it.

Have A Jacket Ready - Between traveling to and from your ceremony, reception and picture location, you can bet there will be a need for a jacket - especially for the bride and her bridal party if strapless dresses are involved. LongIsland.com suggests having a fur wrap readily available to throw over your shoulders! Not only will one of these keep you toasty, but they can also add a special something to your wedding photos that other brides may not have.

Include Candles In The Decor - When planning your centerpieces and other decor for the reception, be sure to look into having candles placed strategically throughout the room. In addition to keeping you and your guests warm, candles can also add that romantic ambiance you're looking for.

Offer Hot Cocoa - Your guests will already be expecting traditional cocktail hour drinks, but you can make your party unique by having a hot drink station available to them too! In our eyes, there is simply no better way to end your wedding day than by kicking off your heels and sipping on a glass of chocolate-y goodness - do you agree?

Most importantly, don't forget to have transportation arranged for well in advance so that you and your guests aren't left standing in the cold at any point of the day or night. Have a Long Island wedding coming up? We at Dynasty Limousine can get you where you need to go comfortably despite the weather conditions that winter may bring. Our team is familiar with all of the local hotels, catering halls and area attractions, so you can expect prompt and professional service for any and all of your transportation needs.

Whether you are looking for transportation to the airport, a chauffeur to bring you around the Island, or a whole fleet to take care of your wedding party's needs - we've got you covered. See why our customers trust Dynasty Limousine with any and all of their transportation needs:

“A big thanks to Dynasty Limousine for transporting me and my family around the island this week. We used them for a few different events and all the drivers were so nice and accommodating and got us where we were going on time and safely. Thank you!” - Kim V

“I recently used Dynasty Limo's for my brothers Bachelor party.  I spoke to Matt when I booked and he was the best.  He went above and beyond anything we had requested and was even able to better help me plan the party based on his knowledge and years of experience.  We had a blast and the limo's were clean and arrived early so that we were on time the entire night, even with traffic.  Highly recommend for any of your limo needs.  Also of note, he is booked as the limo company for the wedding as well.  Professional, courteous, and top notch service.  Thanks Matt and Dynasty Limo!” - Justin L

“I was fortunate to deal with Charlie directly; they gave me exactly what I needed, on very short notice, at a great price, with an excellent and overly helpful driver!! He went above and beyond in service, and when a credit card was left @ a previous winery, he dropped us off and went back for it! He drove safely and carefully and was very nice, prompt, etc! The only tiny thing I would mention is that I wish he knew how to plug the iPhone in for music. The limo itself was amazing- beautiful, clean, spacious, fully stocked. The people @ the limo co, including the owner himself are all extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. This is actually the second time we used them- the first time the other limo company cancelled on us THE DAY BEFORE, and Dynasty seamlessly made sure our guests were taken care of.” - Sara P

“Dear Charlie, Thank you got making our wedding weekend so wonderful. Your staff was so professional, courteous, and helpful. Tom and Joe were a tremendous help. On one of the busiest travel weekends of the year (Memorial Day) they arrived early. Your company is so reliable. This was an important weekend for my husband and I, so thank you for providing outstanding service.” - Kristy S.

Where To Travel in 2016

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

“Buy experiences, not things.” While you may have heard this quote before, research does in fact show that experiential purchases (money spent on doing) tend to provide more enduring happiness than material purchases (money spent on having). The biggest effect on happiness? Anticipation.

With that in mind, stay true to your "travel more" resolution this year. Here are some places you should plan to check out in 2016:
Iceland - The land of fire and ice, its visual splendor can be enjoyed in all seasons. Spend a day at the famous Blue Lagoon, chase the Northern Lights, or take in the numerous cultural activities available in Reykjavik. Plus, with Icelandair’s Stopover option, you’ll be able to spend up to seven nights in Iceland either en route to or home from your European destination for no additional airfare.

Costa Rica -  With January marking the start of the dry season, the first half of the month typically brings a lot of tourism. If you’d prefer less crowds, the second half of January through March is certainly one of the best times for a Costa Rica vacation. Explore some travel websites for deals and packages. Groupon, for example, has an 8-day Jewels of Costa Rica Tour ($1,499 - 1,899) and a 5-8 day adventure tour ($999-$1,874), among others!

National Parks - This year is the 100th anniversary of America’s National Parks system. To celebrate its centennial anniversary, the National Park Service is offering 16 days of free admission to 127 parks including the Everglades, Yellowstone, Crater Lake, Alaska’s Denali National Park and Joshua Tree National Park in California (all of which have admission fees). And if you happen to have a fourth grader in your family, your entrance will be free to ALL national parks ALL year thanks to the 100th anniversary program, Every Kid in a Park. But don’t worry, there are still 282 national parks around the country that always offer free admission. So get out, and enjoy nature!

If you find yourself falling into the post holiday blues this month, filling up a blank calendar is one quick way to remedy the situation. Give yourself something to look forward to, start planning - now!

No matter where your 2016 travel plans take you, Dynasty Limousine will be there to handle your transportation needs. We are available for pickups and drop offs at all of the major New York Airports including and for most private airports including Farmingdale Executive Airport. From all of us to you, we wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year!
