One of the most celebrated symbols of holiday cheer - the 82nd annual Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting! This year’s 85 foot tall tree will be lit with 45,000 energy efficient LED lights in front of tens of thousands who crowd NYC’s streets, in addition to the millions who will tune in live around the globe. The tree will be lit on Wednesday, December 3rd and remain lit and can be viewed until 8pm on January 7th, 2015.

Radio City Christmas Spectacular

From the beloved Wooden Soldiers, to the dazzling Snow scene, to the unforgettable Living Nativity, it's the best of the season in one spectacular experience. It wouldn’t be winter without a spin around the city’s most celebrated traditions! The Rink at Rockefeller Center is open for the season, inviting New Yorkers and visitors alike to come skate and swirl under sparkling lights. If you’d rather BYOS(skates) and hit the ice for FREE, head over to Bank of America’s WInter Village at Bryant Park. No skates, no problem - just costs $14 for rentals.
 
Lighting of the World’s Largest Hanukkah Menorah

Gather around the 32-foot-high, gold-colored, 4,000-pound steel holiday icon at Grand Army Plaza (Fifth Avenue and West 59th Street, across the street from The Plaza hotel) to kick off the annual Jewish Festival of Lights. Or head over to Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn every night of Chanukah for live music, hot latkes, and gifts for the children...and it’s free!
