Co-founder Kip Bedell coined the nickname “Mr. Merlot” from Wine Spectator magazine and their Tasting Room was ranked in the top 25 across America by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Since 1980, this family owned, sustainably farmed, and critically acclaimed winery has been at the forefront of creativity and excellence in the modern American wine industry.
Channing Daughters Winery - 1927 Scuttle Hole Rd, Bridgehampton
Channing Daughters produces wines within all three Long Island AVAs and specializes in white varietals and blends, including Tocai Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat Ottonel. With 28 acres of vines and tasting room, this is the only winery on the East End growing and producing wines from many of their white grapes.
The Lenz Winery - 38355 New York 25, Peconic
Located on the North Fork, this winery, established in 1978, has some of the most mature vineyards in the region. The tasting room is open year-round, seven days a week, and also carries a selection of artisanal jams, cheeses and other foods.
Wolffer Estate - 139 Sagg Rd, Sagaponack
Open seven days a week and surrounded by 55 acres of rolling hills planted with vines, the neatly trellised vineyard provides a truly magnificent setting for wine tastings, evenings filled with live music, weddings and other magnificent parties.
