Prom Is Coming — Be Prepared!

Happy prom season high-schoolers! We know you're busy planning your prom-posals, but in the midst of coordinating an acapela group to sing your invitation to your crush, don’t forget everything else that goes into making prom memorable! Here are a few important items to check off your prom planning list pronto.

What Are You Going to Wear?

If you haven't started shopping yet, what are you waiting for! Don't wait until it's absolute crunch time to get your dress or tuxedo for prom. Guys can rent their tuxedos from Men’s Wearhouse or another formal wear store. Ladies’ attire however, can be more difficult to decide on and usually comes at a steeper price. If you’re looking for beauty on a budget, save yourself some dough and try out Rent the Runway. (Then, you can use that extra money for some stylish shoes to match!)

Where is Everyone Meeting?

Do you and your friends want to take pre-prom photos that put red carpet shots to shame? Coordinate where everyone is going to meet and what time they should arrive, early on. You wouldn't want anyone to be late for photos and miss out on all the fun with your friends, would you? Make sure to have a raincheck spot, too! While you can keep your fingers crossed that there’s clear and sunny skies on prom day, it's important to be able to head inside for photos to keep those glamorous looks alive.

How Will You Get There?

This is one of the most important things to remember — after all, you can't walk to prom! Since everyone is going to want to travel together, have them all chip in for a limo or party bus. That way, you can all travel in tandem and arrive in style! There's a perfect sized vehicle for every group, and you'll even give your parents peace of mind knowing you're safely being taken to and from prom by a professional car service.

With so many Long Island proms falling on the same weekends, you’ll want to book your transportation now before other prom-goers get to your dream ride first. Dynasty Limousine has a wide variety of vehicles to choose from that are sure to make your night one to remember! All you should worry about on prom is how you're going to make memories — leave the driving to us. To find the best transportation solution for your group, give us a call at (631) 587-8500.
