Did you miss out on the 200+ offerings of shows from this year’s New York International Fringe Festival? Not to worry - you still have a chance! The FringeNYC Encore Series gives theatre lovers another chance at seeing some of the most crowd pleasing and critically acclaimed shows performed.

Running through October 5th at the SoHo Playhouse

The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking
Join world-renowned mixologist and raconteur Anthony Caporale for a boozy romp through the history of spirits and cocktails. Warm Enough For Swimming
From the 2012 winner of Fringe NYC’s Excellence in Playwriting award comes Warm Enough for Swimming. Mom drowned years ago. Grandma died yesterday. Eddie fled his wedding. And Bridget can't make coffee. Can estranged siblings clean the living room when the bride arrives with a post-recession pyramid scheme and a Russian Mafioso stalks their childhood home? Time Out New York awards “FOUR STARS!”

Chemistry
Winner of the Fringe Overall Excellence in Playwriting award. Steph is a recovering depressive. Jamie overachieved himself off the deep end. When they meet in their psychiatrist's office, they can't deny their chemistry, but can they survive it? Chemistry is hailed as “hilarious and heart-breaking” (Theater is Easy), “Real, poignant and funny” (The Villager) and “a terrific piece of theater” (nytheater now).

Absolutely Filthy
Winner of Best Show at the 2013 Hollywood Fringe, Absolutely Filthy is a dark comedy inspired by the funny pages, centering on a homeless man perpetually surrounded by a cloud of dust and grime. Winner of the FringeNYC 2014 Theatermania Audience Favorite and Overall Excellence Award!

2014 New York International Fringe Festival Begins Today!

Musicals, comedies, puppet shows, dance - oh my! The 2014 New York International Fringe Festival begins today running through the 24th with 200 shows and 1,200 performances to choose from! One of the city’s largest events is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year including work by 205 different theater and dance companies, each having 5 or 6 opportunities to show its stuff!

But wait, there’s more! This year’s festival is introducing #FringeOnTheFly - a quick and easy way to buy tickets to ANY of FringeNYC’s performances. Simply go to the website any time up to 30 minutes before the curtain to reserve tickets. Then, once you arrive, they’ll scan your phone and vua-la you’re all set.
