Looking for summer plans for the whole family? Consider a night out in New York City to see one of New York's finest Broadway plays. One of the greatest things about Broadway is that since there are so many shows to choose from, you're bound to find something the whole family can enjoy!

Whether you're looking for comedy, romance, drama, or a little bit of everything, show stopping performances occur almost every night of the week throughout the theater district. The following are just some of the New York City Theatre's top picks of shows you can check out this summer:

  • Cinderella: Recommended for ages 4 and up. Broadway Theater - 1681 Broadway
  • Matilda: Recommended for all ages. Shubert Theater - 225 West 44th Street
  • Of Mice and Men:  Recommended for ages 8 and up. Longacre Theater - 220 West 48th Street
  • Rock of Ages:  Recommended for ages 13 and up. Helen Hayes Theater - 240 West 44th Street
  • Wicked: Recommended for ages 8 and up. Gershwin Theater - 222 West 51st Street

The planning doesn't stop once you've chosen which show you'll attend; next, it's time to take care of transportation! Keeping track of the whole family on the train can be difficult (and costly depending on the length of your ride and number of passengers), and navigating through the city by car can be stressful with crowded roadways and limited parking.

Eliminate the stress by choosing Dynasty Limo to provide your transportation! Our stylish, modern fleet of vehicles is trumped only by our exceptional customer service, and we're available for service 24/7! Call us at (631) 587-8500 to book your reservation today!

Do you have out of town guests visiting you this week for Passover or Easter? Perhaps just some friends and family stopping in for their Spring Break? Either way, before they start asking you for things to do, here are some suggestions on where you can bring your guests this week so they get a true New York experience:
  1. Broadway Shows - With tons to choose from, both on and off Broadway, there’s bound to be something all of your guests will enjoy.
  2. Baseball Games - Take your guests to a ballgame at Citi Field or Yankee Stadium! We have clear skies forecasted until Saturday so take advantage and cheer on your favorite home team.
  3. New York Aquarium - Located on Coney Island, this is the only major aquarium in NYC. It’s a great price for the experience and is right on the boardwalk which offers more attractions for all day fun!
  4. Empire State Building - A must see for tourists - once you’re inside the building and shooting up to it’s observation deck you get a birds eye view of the entire city.
And for anyone celebrating Passover, stop by some of these NYC restaurants and shops this week for a specialty dinner or festive sweets!
  • Magnolia Bakery - Matzo Crunch, made up of delicious layers of Matzo cracker, handmade butter crunch candy, chocolate, white chocolate and toffee pieces
  • Toloache Thompson - Offers a Jewish-Mexican hybrid menu downtown, with items such as  kosher tequila, a matzo ball soup made with zucchini, carrots, epazote and jalapeño scented chicken consommé and Costilla de Res made with braised short ribs, matzo ball potato croquette, Chile ancho salsa and pickled vegetables, just to name a few.

Plan a Limo Day Trip to NYC

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

LIRR ticket, metro card, taxi cab - all good ideas if you’re planning to visit the city for one specific reason - not if you’re looking to enjoy an action-packed day in a short period of time. No one wants to spend their entire NYC trip waiting for the subway that never comes.

So avoid the headache and consider booking a car service to Manhattan with Dynasty Limo instead! Let us chauffeur you and your entourage to all the places on your itinerary, including but not limited to:

Brunch! Start your day off right, now that you have a driver feel free to enjoy some Mimosas or Bloody Mary’s with your mid morning meal. We will pick you up and bring you to your restaurant of choosing at the time you’d like. Simply let us know when you’re finishing up your meals and we’ll meet back where you were dropped off.

Typical Tourist Spots - Driving through Times Square in your Dynasty Limo is significantly more relaxing than walking through all the crowds and trying to hail a cab. Hop out, take some photos, or stop at some of the many museums New York City has to offer. Weather permitting, plan a picnic in Central Park - just pack your lunch or dinner, blanket, and whatever else you enjoy!

Dinner and a Show - Not sure where to go for the evening? Luckily, Eater just released their updated Eater 38 - naming 38 essential restaurants in New York. Happy eating! Afterwards take in a Broadway show! There’s countless options, for even the pickiest of viewers.
No matter what your plans are for your New York City adventure, Dynasty Limo can get you there! Contact us today for more information and to view our availability.
