5 Wedding Details Not to Overlook

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service

P: (631) 587-8500

Calling all bride-to-be's! Planning your wedding isn’t easy, from choosing wedding vendors to arranging seating arrangements - it’s easy to see why some things can be overlooked. So to make sure you don’t sweat the small stuff, we’ve got a list of five details to keep on your radar before your big day:

Proper undergarments for your dress - You’ve said yes to the dress, but you’re not done quite yet. To avoid the last minute panic of what to wear under your gown, choose these items immediately. Whether you need a slip or special bra for that plunging neckline, purchase accordingly and bring with you to the final fitting.

Photo friendly preparation outfits - On your wedding day, every moment is going to be seen through the lens. As such. be sure to pick up some photo friendly preparation outfits for both you and your bridesmaids. The key here is to choose items that won’t ruin hair or makeup when you take them off, and refrain from anything too short or see-through that your ladies may be uncomfortable in. Robes, rompers, or anything that can be stepped into should do the trick!

Gifts for mom and dad - Show your appreciation to your parents (and new in-laws) with a thoughtful and sentimental gift. Whether its just a card with a sweet note about how much you love and care (and are thankful they put up with your wedding stresses) or a personalized item unique to your relationship - they’ll cherish it.

Bathroom basket - A touch of extra hospitality can go a long way! Stock a basket full of necessities like mints, stain remover pens, hair products, aspirin, etc., and leave it in the restroom. Your guests will be sure to thank you!

Flower girl accessories - Now that your look is complete, give the finishing touches to your flower girl. A cute pair of earrings or bracelet, an additional hair piece for some extra sparkle, or perhaps even a personalized t-shirt will show your appreciation while giving her an extra boost of confidence to make that walk down the aisle!

How to Travel Smarter This Summer

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service

P: (631) 587-8500
Are you jetting off for the summer? If so, don't just pick up and go. Planning for your trip ahead of time could help you have the vacation you've been daydreaming about. Here are some ways to travel smarter:

Pack Smarter - Pack a small, collapsible duffle bag in your suitcase on your next trip. This way if you go overboard with buying souvenirs and gifts, you have somewhere to store them (checking a second bag is often cheaper than an overweight bag!). And while we hope this doesn’t happen, in the event of your suitcase getting lost in route - make sure you keep the essentials and a change of clothes in your carry on.

Feel Better Faster - Keep a first aid kit on hand and make sure it is fully stocked with bandages, ibuprofen, hydrocortisone, and topical antibiotic. If you take prescription medications, keep these in your carry on and read the TSA’s guidelines for bringing medications on your next flight.

Put Safety First - We know there are plenty of travel apps that can help you manage your flight itinerary or find the nearest coffee shop - but do you have apps on your phone for safety as well? Take the Red Cross’ First Aid app for example, this app helps to deal with emergency situations with a few swipes of your screen. Travel Safe compiles all emergency numbers you could need depending on the country you are visiting. For additional safety apps, view the video below:

Limit Air Travel Hassles - Hold onto your boarding pass, it shows some essential information like your ticket number, your seat, how you were ticketed, and baggage claim details. If you have a mobile boarding pass, screenshot the image in case you don’t have service to access it. Also make sure to have insurance on all those hard-to-replace items in case any get lost or stolen during your travels.

To really limit the amount of air travel hassles, give us a call to take care of your airport drop off and pick up needs. At Dynasty Limousine, we know your time in transit can be spent better than navigating airport terminals or dealing with traffic. We offer competitive rates for Airport and Ground Transportation in the New York area. Call and request a quote today (631) 587-8500!
