NYC Summer Date Night Ideas

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

New York City offers more than just bars and restaurants for a fun date night venture. So stop going to the same boring spots! Spice up your day's itinerary and check out some of these out of the box NYC date night ideas.

Check out a Jazz show in Harlem at Shrine - Don’t let the outside fool you, this little spot is not only a bar restaurant but also a world music venue. Shrine offers some seriously good jazz performances just about every night of the week.

Go rock climbing on the Upper East Side - Steep Rock Bouldering offers beginner’s intro classes Mondays & Fridays for $20 after 6pm. Here you’ll get comfortable on the wall, learn bouldering basics, and safety. Cost includes gear rental and day pass - bonus it’s open until 11pm.

Take a tour of the Brooklyn Brewery - Weekends at The Brewery are an all-day affair. Head in for a beer, grab a ticket for a free tour (limited to 40 people every half hour) and enjoy. Saturday tours run from 1pm - 5pm and Sunday tours from 1pm - 4pm, opening at noon sharp both days.

Enjoy live music and eats at Riis Park Beach Bazaar - Just as the Brooklyn Night Bazaar isn’t your momma’s flea market, the Riis Park Beach Bazaar isn’t your typical beach experience. Riis Park Beach Bazaar reinvigorates the historic art deco buildings of Jacob Riis National Park by bringing food, music, bars and vendors to the historic boardwalk. Check out some FREE concerts every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and a variety of pop-up merch vendors.

If you're looking to go the extra mile, why not go out in style? Dynasty Limousine provides the most impressive and well equipped limousines on the market, and we will provide you with a luxurious experience that is sure to make your night as stress free and relaxing as possible. 5 Tips for Packing for an Extended Weekend

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

Packing for an extended weekend isn’t an exact science. A lot depends on where you are going, the weather, and your personal style. So before you go tossing in a bunch of unneeded items, we'll give you a few tips on how to keep your bag small, tidy and manageable!

Minimize clothing basics. Resist the urge to pack a complete outfit (with matching shoes) for each day. Instead, pack some basics and plan to mix and match them - bonus if they are naturally wrinkle-free fabrics. Remember to only bring what you absolutely need, not what you MIGHT need. Some tips: choose solid colors instead of prints to maximize outfit combos and for ladies - dresses can easily transition from day to night with the right accessories.

Remember additional clothing items. Extra undergarments are always handy and take up minimal space in a bag. Pack an extra set of underwear and socks should you need a change, a bathing suit if needed, and a set of lightweight pajamas.  If you are attending a nice event, remember to bring an appropriate outfit.

Choose shoes wisely. You’ll want to bring a pair of practical shoes that you can wear for extended periods of time and that go along with different outfit combinations. You may also want to bring a nicer pair for a more upscale look and sandals should you be going poolside.

Keep toiletries tiny. Any personal item you wish to bring, opt for it in travel size - or simply pour your home products into small travel bottles. Hotels typically have soap, shampoo, and conditioner at your disposal so you may be able to slim down on the amount of toiletries you plan to bring.

Consider everything else. Don’t forget any necessary prescription medications, or allergy/motion sickness remedies if needed. Prepare for the elements, if you wear hats - bring one, otherwise pack a compact umbrella should rain come your way. Include any necessary chargers (cellphone, laptop, camera, etc.) and consider packing a stain remover pen for emergency situations.

No matter where your weekend travel plans take you, start your vacation off stress free! Let Dynasty Limousine handle your airport transportation needs. We offer competitive rates for Airport and Ground Transportation in the New York area. Call and request a quote today (631) 587-8500!

5 Reasons to Use a Limo This Summer

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500
Once upon a time, traveling in a limo was reserved exclusively for those of wealth and status. Now, anyone can travel around in the same style and glamor at an affordable price. Wondering how using a limousine service could benefit your summer plans? See if the below five reasons strike a chord:

Affordability. Consider the amount of cab and train fees, car rental costs, or toll charges that would accumulate trying to get your group to and from your destination. By utilizing a car service, you can select a vehicle large enough for your group’s needs for a more convenient price point.

Comfort. On the hottest and humid days here on Long Island, traveling in comfort is always a priority. Avoid waiting for other modes of transportation, sit back and relax in an air conditioned limousine.

Convenience. Heading to a sporting event or concert? Taking a limousine or party bus is a sure way to keep your group together and safe, especially if you plan to be drinking.

Stress free. Whether it’s navigating your way to and from an airport or trying to avoid traffic while heading out east, take the stress free route. Leave the driving to us so you can focus on what really matters - having fun.

Because they’re fun. Summertime is about having fun - so get the most out of it! Treat yourself to a luxury ride with friends or family.

Enjoy your summer events knowing you will get to and from your destinations promptly and safely. Call and book your car service today (631) 587-8500! For more information please visit our website www.dynastylimoli.com.

Outdoor Summer Weddings: Last Minute Checklist

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

Summertime brides rejoice - you’re almost there! By now all your major decisions have been settled so it’s time to turn your focus to tackling any last minute details for your big day. Like what you ask? See below for some suggestions to ensure your celebration goes off without a hitch:

Make sure everyone is cool & hydrated. If you haven’t done so already, talk to your caterer about welcoming your guests with a drink. A simple drink station with water, lemonade, or iced tea can go a long way, especially at an outdoor wedding!

Keep the bugs away. Anyone who has been outside during the summer knows that mosquitoes can be a very annoying problem. Protect your wedding and your guests by lighting some citronella candles or, if you are on the beach, light some tiki torches! Another solution is to give your guests welcome bags each with their own bottle of bug spray.

Prep for sweat. This tip is for the groom and it may possibly save your wedding photos! Bring an extra dress shirt to change into after the ceremony so your wedding photos are free of sweat stains.

Be prepared for a little rain. Weather is one thing you really can’t control on your wedding day and the summer season is known for its unexpected rain storms. Talk to your venue and make sure you have a plan, whether that be tents or moving to an indoor space.

Make your flowers last. Nobody wants wilted flowers at their wedding, so make sure you meet with your florist to go over the timeline of the day.Try to have your flowers dropped off as close to the event time as possible or ask for them to be delivered with water. You may even want to consider ordering extra flowers - JUST in case!

Write up contact sheets. Create contact sheets for everyone in your bridal party with all necessary information. From each others numbers, to the wedding planner’s, to the Dynasty Limo driver’s - feel free to even include a timeline of the day. This will help keep everyone on schedule and in the right place at the right time.

From all of us here at Dynasty Limo, we wish you a beautiful wedding and are excited to be a part of your big day this summer season!
