TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT. It’s been a long 15 years, but the Amazins are back in the World Series - and fans & non-fans alike are feeling the excitement!

Finding tickets to a game may be impossible (and pricey), so here’s a home rundown of sports bars where you can catch the game with fellow diehards:

McFadden’s Citi Field: Who wouldn’t want to celebrate game day at McFadden’s? Tickets are ON SALE NOW for Games 1 and 2 - for just $30 you’ll have GUARANTEED express entry and $5 draft beers all night long! Legendary Mets Players will be hosting the viewing parties (Howard 'HoJo' Johnson & Lenny 'Nails' Dykstra) and offering free selfies and autographs during the game!

Foley’s NY Pub and Restaurant: Foley’s, an Irish bar with a baseball attitude, has appropriately renamed itself as Daniel Murphy’s Pub & Restaurant throughout the World Series. Try the “Chicken Murphy” menu offering featuring chicken breast, Italian sausage, and sliced cherry tomatoes.

SideBar: With 20 large screen TVs to choose from, you won’t miss a beat at SideBAR. Enjoy some game day drink specials including $30 Bud Light Beer buckets or $14 pitchers.

Dewey’s Pub: Drink like a true Met! Enjoy “Daniel” Murphy’s Stout pints for $5 or have blue and orange colored Budweiser pints for $6. You can even go big for $25 and get buckets of beer that come with two free hot dogs.

A How To on Wine Tasting

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

So you’ve booked your fall wine tour with us, now if only you could impress your friends with your wine tasting knowledge. Don't worry - we've got your back.

Take a look at some of the below tips to help you become that wine connoisseur you've always wanted to be:
Sight
Look at your glass of wine from both the side and with a tilted view. Viewing the wine from the side will show you how clear it is - wine that looks clear and shows some sparkle is always a good sign. The tilted view helps in determining the age and weight of the wine. If the color looks tawny (for white) or has a rusty brick tone (for red) it is either an older wine or a wine that may be past its prime. Finally, give the glass a good swirl. Take note of the “legs” or drops that run down the sides of the glass. If the wine has good legs form - this generally means they have more alcohol and glycerin content making them riper than those that do not.

Sniff
Taking a series of quick sniffs gives you a nice sampling of the aromas of the wine - which can help you identify its key characteristics. First, look for any off-aromas that can signify the wine is spoiled - a musty scent, the smell of burnt matches, or vinegar are some clear signs. Then try and define some other aromas - like floral or fruity scents. You may also sense some wine barrel aromas - think smoke, vanilla, chocolate, espresso.

Taste
Now that you observed your wine’s sight and smell, take a small sip as if you were sucking it through a straw. This helps to aerate the wine and circulate it throughout your mouth. At this point, your taste buds not only identify the aromas but also determine the wine’s balance, harmony, and complexity.

5 Packing Mistakes to Avoid

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service
P: (631) 587-8500

With everything else going on in our daily lives, it’s easy to neglect packing your bags until the last minute. The outcome of this however can easily make or break your trip. Give yourself a little preparation time, keeping the below packing mistakes in mind:

1. Choosing the wrong bag: Take into account where you are traveling to and what you will be doing once you arrive. If you anticipate needing to walk a bit to your final destination, perhaps a roller bag is a better choice than an over the shoulder. Then again, overhead space may be better suited for a duffle depending on the airline.

2. Over-packing: A fairly common occurrence, we get it - you don’t want to forget anything. But then again, what happens with the new souvenirs you just accumulated? Try leaving SOME packing space should you need to bring items home.

3. Not preparing for the weather: We know mother nature can change her mind in a moments notice, but it doesn’t help to try and be prepared. Check the weather for the week ahead while you’re packing and leave some room (as mentioned above) should you need to purchase anything for unexpected weather changes while you’re there.

4. Leaving your liquids unprotected: Always pack any liquid bottles or containers either in a plastic bag or a secure toiletry bag. It doesn’t take much for a shampoo or perfume bottle to open or leak, wreaking havoc on all of your clothing.

5. Bringing a bad attitude: Despite your best efforts, sometimes unfortunate things can happen. Flight delays, lost or delayed luggage - it’s best to pack a sense of humor and some tolerance and be prepared to roll with the punches to make the best of your trip!

Avoid some of the hassles air travel can bring, give Dynasty Limousine a call to take care of your airport drop off and pick up needs.  At Dynasty Limousine, we know your time in transit can be spent better than navigating airport terminals or dealing with traffic. We offer competitive rates for Airport and Ground Transportation in the New York area. Call and request a quote today (631) 587-8500!

When it comes to shuttling people, our luxury van - the Mercedes Sprinter - offers comfort, versatility and a value that makes it a viable alternative to a traditional stretch limo.

This beautiful vehicle is ideal for smaller groups (~10), has a large sliding door for ease of boarding and over 6 feet of height inside. You can relax on spacious plush leather seats, set custom lighting, adjust the audio system, and enjoy the mini bar.

Still not sold? Check out what one of our customer’s had to say about their Dynasty Limousine Mercedes Sprinter experience:
“Wanted to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone at Dynasty Limo for giving me an amazing 26th birthday experience. We had an awesome luxury van that was basically a mini party bus! It was perfect for my friends and I to head into the city to go to brunch.
Our driver Victor was also very accommodating, one of my guests was getting a little motion sick and he pulled over to give him some time and offered for him to ride in the front with him. All in all we were incredibly impressed with the service we received from booking to dropping us back off to my house on Long Island. Will definitely recommend Dynasty to anyone!"
