From 7am to 1pm on the first 3 Saturdays in August, nearly 7 miles of New York City’s streets will be closed to motor vehicles and open to the public for biking, strolling, dancing, frolicking, what have you. Central Park Conservancy Film Festival - August 18-22
This free outdoor film series works to salute New York by showing movies that capture the City from a variety of angles. August 18 - Big, August 19 - The Royal Tenebaums, August 20 - The Way We Were, August 21 - Ghostbusters, and August 22 - Rear Window.
