Decorated in nostalgic roadhouse motif, this Smithtown eatery is no mere burger stop. Just order at the counter and pile on your toppings (theyre free) - gluttons rejoice, you can order the Roadstar, essentially four burgers under one bun.
BBDs - Rocky Point
BBDs (Beers, Burgers, Desserts) features burgers with house-ground beef, grilled over wood and charcoal, and served on a toasted brioche bun with the restaurants logo branded on top.
Sapsuckers Hops & Grub - Huntington
The mallet burger at this Huntington pub uses hormone and antibiotic free Painted Hills Farms beef, cooked on a griddle and pressed with a mallet before being place on a toasted brioche bun.
All-American Hamburger - Massapequa
A local favorite since 1953, this burger stand really hasn’t altered much since it opened. Seating is outdoor only and crowds have been known to tailgate in the parking lot during busy times in the summers when seating is full.
Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar - Huntington Station
Open in Walt Whitman Mall, this loud and energetic spot serves up made-to-order burgers and a strong selection of wine. The Kobe Burger is topped with sautéed wild mushrooms, cheddar cheese, on a soft brioche bun.
