Galentine’s Day in New York City

Long Island's Premiere Limousine Service

P: (631) 587-8500

Galentine’s Day – a holiday coined by Amy Poehler’s Parks and Rec character Leslie Knope – is celebrated February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day. It’s purpose? For you to gather your best gal pals – whether it’s your close friends, sister(s), mom or coworkers – and celebrate friendship!
But Monday doesn’t need to be the only day to celebrate the relationship you have with the ladies in your life! Choose an upcoming weekend or another evening, give Dynasty Limousine a call, and cheers to some good times!

Spend an afternoon getting pampered.
Manicures and martinis anyone? That’s right, Beauty Bar located on E. 14th is an old school beauty parlor turned bar. Seven days a week (Mondays-Fridays 6p – 11p and Weekends 3p – 11p) you’ll be able to get a drink and a manicure for just $10! Then had a few blocks south for Joli Beauty Bar which specializes in hair and makeup. Treat yourselves to a touchup before truly stepping out in New York! (Plus, rumor has it that they offer wine and fun snacks to eat!)

Enjoy a cozy, trendy evening together.
Fancy having fondue in a yurt? Drinks in an igloo? You’re in luck! The Standard East Village has five alpine yurts in its Winter Garden through March! If you have 8 to 10 people in your group, you can book a yurt reservation which includes choice of sausage or veggie fondue, a salad and apple strudel for $60 per person. Add a drink package for an additional $32 for a pot of hard cider or mulled red wine, as well as wine carafes and a shot of Aquavit to finish! Or head to 230 Fifth Rooftop Lounge for drinks in a see-through PVC igloo! Able to hold up to 8 people, wrap yourself in a cozy robe, grab a hot spiked apple cider, and experience the NYC skyline from the comfort of a heated igloo! Warning, igloos are first-come, first-serve so get there early!

Channel your inner Picasso.
Create a masterpiece along side your closest friends (and strangers)! Paint Along NYC offers 2 or 3 hour long painting classes ($45 or $55 respectively) – all supplies included. Feel free to BYO-wine or another beverage, they’ll have cups and corkscrews on. Browse through their calendar here for class openings!

What better way to enjoy your girl’s night out than by being chauffeured to the above locations courtesy of Dynasty Limousine! Plus if you plan to indulge at any of the above places, we want to make sure you do so responsibly. Contact us today for availability!
