With March on the horizon, New York City has a plethora of events up its sleeve. From beer themed happenings to trending art exhibits, here’s what you can check out this first week of March:
Moving Image New York | Waterfront Tunnel
Moving Image was conceived to offer a viewing experience with the excitement and vitality of a fair, while allowing moving image-based artworks to be understood and appreciated on their own terms. Stop by and check out some of the works through March 2!

Taste of the Dining Concourse | Grand Central Terminal
This week, join in on Grand Central Terminal’s celebration of train station fare. From 11a-12p and 4p-5p each day through Friday, March 3, you can score free samples of your favorite station eateries. From Hale and Hearty soups to assorted pieces of sushi courtesy of Shiro of Japan, be sure to taste your way through Grand Central!

The Armory Show | Piers 92 & 94
Immerse yourself into New York’s art scene with a trip to the annual premier art fair — The Armory Show — running March 2 through March 5. Showcasing some of the world’s most important 20th and 21st century artworks, gallerists will be around to share information about the pieces. General admission tickets are $47 (for student, senior and other various discounts, please visit the website).

New York City Beer Week | Various locations
Free beer tastings, bar crawls, tap takeovers — it’s New York City’s Beer Week, running through March 7. You can even hit up the Bronx Beer Hall’s Tap That Speed Dating Event this Friday — find love over craft beer, we hope you meet the one that makes you the hoppiest person in the world.

Visit the Frick | Upper East Side
#Frickfirstfridays is back again! Each first Friday evening of the month (except September and January), visitors can skip the $22 admission cost to visit the museum and gallery programs for free. Enjoy gallery talks, music performances, and open sketching, or simply find yourself in the company of the Old Masters and art enthusiasts from around the world!
